Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage 2015
This very limited Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage is a tribute to the world’s first ever bottled Pinotage – a 1959 Lanzerac Pinotage. This wine has an excellent deep colour, with typical varietal aromas such as ripe, plumy red fruits on the nose. A big mouth-feel, complex and velvety pallet and a long and lingering aftertaste rounds of this wine. With five to ten years’ maturation it will start to acquire the velvet density and luxurious chocolate and caramel flavours for which its predecessors is known.
This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared until 2030.
An elegant wine that pairs perfectly with subtle spiced curries, fragrant roasts and venison.
